European Skateboard Championships | 6 – 9 August 2009 | Basel, Switzerland – Part 2

The Experiment begins

Once again the European skateboard scene comes together in Basel from August 6th to 9th, for the 9th edition of the etnies European Skateboard Championships. Confirmed skateboarders are Juergen Horrwarth from Berlin, who won miniramp last year, Phil Zwijsen from Belgium, who won street and last year’s Girl’s Jam winner Ianire Elorriaga from Spain, as well as Ricardo Paterno from the Netherlands, the winner of the recent Amster DamnAm competition and crowd’s favorite Axel Cruysberghs from Belgium.

Already on Thursday we kick off with the Junior Champs in four age groups, but just the very best top 10 of the overall junior ranking continue to skateboard on Saturday in the qualification. Everybody who is not qualified needs to skate the prequalification on Friday. Qualified skateboarders are posted on www.skateboardeurope.com . All the finals are held on Sunday!
